Hello and welcome to Hyun Mu Dojang (Haidong Gumdo in Edinburgh) page. Haidong Gumdo is a traditional martial art of Korean origin, focused on the mastery of Korean traditional single-edged sword, commonly known as Gum. This martial art is based on techniques and tactics against multiple opponents, simulating the action of a battlefield. Therefore, during its practice, mobility, agility,

As we close out 2025, we would like to thank all Masters, instructors, students and families across the United Kingdom Haidong Gumdo Association for their continued commitment and unity throughout the year.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Master Han, Head of the EUHGA, Master Lee, EUHGA Technical Director, and all members of the EUHGA for their ongoing guidance, support and shared dedication to the growth of Haidong Gumdo across Europe.
