🚩 Unfortunately due to low entries we will not be able to run the show jumping planned for this Saturday. All entries will be refunded.

We will look forward instead to our final 2 competitions still to run this year, plus training still to be put in the diary.

If there is interest, we may look to run either jump training or a clear round type event - please let us know if this is something you would be interested in.

Sorry to keep everyone waiting!! For those that haven't heard, Emma certainly did do EDRC proud at the BRC Howden Horse trials championship last weekend and after spending the night in 11th place, after a superb round over the XC course she moved up to finish in a fantastic 4th place!! Well done Emma!

Now we look ahead to our showjumping competition on the 22nd August at Cousland. Entries on Horsemonkey - get your entries in!

Emma Fletcher is doing us proud representing EDRC at the BRC Horse Trials Championships. Not only is she doing really well sitting in 11th place on her dressage score of 32.8 after day 1 but she's also been highly recommended as part of the equine fit award which checks the fit of tack. Well done Emma! Have fun on the XC!!

🍀🍀🍀 Good Luck to Emma Fletcher and Strike it Lucky competing in the HT80 at the BRC Horse Trials Championships down at Swalcliffe Park in Banbury. Accompanied by fellow EDRC member Sarah Brown, the three made the long journey south yesterday and arrived safe and sound. We will be following closely to see how they get on. Dressage and showjumping today.🍀🍀🍀

Summer Qualifiers recap - Congratulations to all our members who made the journey through to Morris last weekend for the BRC Area 1 qualifiers. It was great to have two teams and some individuals representing the club.
Firstly we had a team of 3 competing in the 60cm class. Katy Brunton on Jimmy, Gill Morice on Toby and Anne Paxton riding Joyce's mare Poppy made a superb team and, despite only being 3, they came 2nd!! Absolutely brilliant 👏 Anne got an individual 3rd and Katy a 4th too 🎉🎉
Then the dressage - we had a team for the intermediate with Caroline Pennycooke, Sarah Brown, Joyce Kent and Gill Morice. Everyone did brilliantly and the team came 7th. Caroline had an individual 5th and 6th and Gill a 6th too. Sarah managed a 3rd in the veteran class too with Striker as the veteran (not Sarah 😁). Such a successful day for everyone!

Finally a huge thank you to Katy and Sarah for helping as well as competing. In order to compete we have to have volunteers at the event but it isn't always easy to juggle everything. Thank you for taking on the task this time so I could be off shooting children at my daughters laser tag birthday party 😅 Kat- team manager
