Our picturesque ground is located in the Stockbridge area of central Edinburgh and regularly hosts Scotland's international matches. In 2013, Scotland will play Pakistan at Grange on Friday 17th and Sunday 19th May and Australia on Tuesday 3rd September. There will also be three matches at Grange against English counties in the CB40 competition. Our aim is to attract club players of all ages and a
ll standards. The 1st XI won the Cricket Scotland Trophy in 2012 as well as the Scottish National League in 2006, 2008 and 2010. The 2nd XI and 3rd XI play in Divisions 1 and 4 of the East of Scotland leagues. In addition to various cup competitions, there are also regular friendly fixtures, usually played on Sundays. Senior outdoor cricket practice takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from mid-April through to early September, but club members can use the artificial net facilities at any time in the summer. The new 2012 coaching team will continue their good work in 2013. A number of our players have represented Scotland at senior or junior level and their experience is also of great benefit. A highlight of recent years has been the growth and achievements of our Junior Section, now with 160 members. In 2012 Grange won the under 13 National Cup competition. We offer regular coaching from the age of five (initially using the Kwik Cricket format) for both boys and girls, and junior teams start at under 10. The all-inclusive subscription (payable by direct debit) also allows Grange members to become part of a wider sports and social club which can be used throughout the year. With a fully-staffed modern bar and club rooms, the historic pavilion is an ideal meeting place. For a small additional fee, members can also play tennis, squash and hockey. Junior, Intermediate and Full-Time Student members may elect to play one additional sport for free.
