Delighted for Sophie Brown and Katie McCrindle who won Players Player Of The Year and Most Improved Player respectively.

Both girls have been working together in one of my sessions for over a year now so it’s fantastic to see their extra work bare fruition .

Well done to both of you keep up the hard work.

Great to see Filip Skorb play his first game for scotland u16s .

Filip played for Portobello who was always a pleasure to coach .

Delighted to see another player excel who took part in my 1-2-1 or small group sessions .

A player with a natural talent to score goals who i am sure has a big future in the game.

Well done 👏

John Barnes was an unbelievable Talent .

I have been very inactive on this page , so each day i am going to start sharing goals or games that helped develop my obsession with football .

Goals i have witnessed or watched live on tv that stirred all the emotions on football can growing up or even as an adult .

Day 1
Game 1

Scotland v Spain .

Kenny Dalgliesh Goal .

I was always told to pick a player at a game when i was with my dad and watch everything he done .
It was like sky sports players cam as i watched everything about them.

I remember Dalgleish was walking about when we had a throw in and he was getting pelters from fans all around us for being lazy in not a very encouraging way .

Seconds later he scored a goal that is etched into my memory as a shift of balance then a drop of the shoulder , before curling it into the top corner.

Hampden to me felt absolutely massive at that time with the terracing going as far as my young eye could see .

Fantastic memories of a brilliant scotland victory.
