🖤This Week at Portobello Bowling Club
Before we look ahead to another busy week at the club, we want to take a moment to remember Derek Johnston.
Derek was a much-loved and respected member of Portobello Bowling Club for many years. His friendship, humour and love of the game touched so many people, and he will be greatly missed around our green and clubhouse.
On Tuesday at 12 noon, family, friends and fellow members will gather at Seafield Crematorium to say their final farewell. Our thoughts are with Derek’s family and loved ones at this difficult time, and we know many of our members will be there to pay their respects.
The attached poster contains all of this week’s fixtures, competitions and social events. As always, we wish every team and every member the very best of luck in the days ahead.
Rest in peace, Derek. You will always be remembered as part of the Portobello Bowling Club family. 💙💛
