Any exciting opportunity for young people, we thoroughly recommend this to any teacher or parent!

If they want to learn to dive then get in touch with us, we are a branch. We can train divers from 12 upwards. After an initial try dive they will learn more than how to breathe underwater with transferable management, lifesaving, logistical and environmental knowledge.

Our instructors and club members was able to organise and host the Sport80 team for try dives this evening. Special guests BSAC CEO Mary Tetley and BSAC Head of Diving and Training Sophie Heptonstall.

Big thanks to the amazing members of North East Derbyshire Scuba Club for hosting the Sport80 try dives this evening with BSAC CEO Mary Tetley and BSAC Head of Diving and Training Sophie Heptonstall. Fantastic set up and a great experience for the Sport80 Team.

Despite coming to the end of the 2025 dive season. This week our weekly club night super busy underwater activity with 18 attendees!🫧

The group was made up of 1 Try Diver, 1 refresher diver, 4 Ocean Diver trainees getting to grips with their scuba training, and 2 qualified members buddy up to practice their skills. Not forgetting our fabulous 4 instructors giving their time. As well as 6 enjoying a swim. 🏊‍♂️

After all that we also held an initial trip planning meeting. Where ideas for our club trips for 2026 should were brought forward for discussions amongst members. 🗓️

This week was a hive of underwater activity!🫧 We welcomed a new Try Diver, witnessed 3 Ocean Diver trainees taking confident strides in their training, and saw 2 experienced members fine-tuning their DSMB skills in anticipation of incredible club dives.
