UNSILENT NIGHT

Our annual Christmas community gathering, featuring the Eccles Borough Band , mince pies, mulled wine and "singing" will follow the rugby on SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER.

Eccles v Crewe & Nantwich RUFC kicks off 2.15pm.

FESTIVAL UPDATE: On Saturday 24 August the ECCLES CUP mens rugby tournament will kick off at 1pm, with teams competing on two pitches throughout the afternoon and the cup final commencing around 3.30pm.
During the matches a collection will be held along the touchline with cash donations collected in the Trophy. The tournament winner takes all - the Cup and the Cash for the nominated charity of thier choice.
Gates open at 1230pm. Admission is £5 adults, children are free.
We're looking forward to welcoming the players and supporters of Kendal Rugby Club Glossop RUFC Aldwinians RUFC Leigh RUFC - Ltd Littleborough RUFC

Due to a number of reasons, primarily the availability of players and organisers, unfortunately the Finals Day scheduled for 6th August will have to be cancelled. And with the XVs season starting as well there's no opportunity for rescheduling. Therefore the season will end on Thursday 4th August. The bar will be open for anyone wishing to celebrate. Hope to see you for the last couple of weeks.

Okay, in order to (hopefully) avoid any further rejigging of the fixtures I've decided to merge the Third and Fourth teams and expunge the Thirds results. The only team that negatively impacts is Parkys & Recreation and they're not doing too bad so I think they'll manage. See you all shortly.

I'm not sure we will get better weather today :( There's been a lot of rain already, and it's forecast (for what little that's worth) to be intermittent throughout the day. We'll make a call at 17:30 on whether we can play tonight.
