What people say about Sarah:
“Sarah has coached me through some tough decisions as well as helping me to find the balance between working full time and having toddler twins. I’ve always been so impressed with Sarah’s strategic but creative skills, across pretty much everything relating to marketing communications.”
— Mammy Maquire, Head of Social Media, Man Met University

"I knew that Sarah and the PPL sessions would be valuable but I didn’t realise quite how valuable. Oh my goodness she finds a way to get the root of anything that is holding you back from being your very best authentic self. So many techniques grounded in solid thinking, so many tips on how to keep moving forward towards those business goals; but also making sure we don’t lose sight of the every day and celebrating what we do bloody well already. I’ve loved these last few weeks and its value will stay with me for the rest of my working life and beyond. I’ve taken this time to invest in me and it’s been worth its weight in gold. Sarah is not only a great trainer, she’s a great person to be around."
- Clare Briscall, Owner, Clare Briscall Planning

"Sarah’s mentoring forced me to take just a short amount of time out for myself, to reflect during a very busy work period, and I am a healthier, happier person as a result. Sarah has a practical and very realistic attitude about what can be achieved and sets sensible small goals that do make a difference. She’s also easy to chat to, and we laughed a lot. I thoroughly recommend her training.”

When I first shared this carousel, it went a bit bonkers.

It told me how many women recognised the role. The one people call when something needs sorting. The woman who can hold a team steady while mentally reorganising the family diary and remembering the thing nobody else has noticed yet.

The fixer is often the last person anybody checks on. Her capability creates the illusion that she has plenty of capacity too.

At work, she catches the dropped balls, absorbs ambiguity and keeps delivery moving. At home, she anticipates, organises and watches for any blip. After years of being rewarded, thanked and relied upon for doing it, fixing can become a compensation pattern.

When the scaffolding around her cannot meet the load, she compensates by becoming the scaffolding.

It works. Of course it works. She is bloody good at it.

The cost often shows up somewhere else. She loses focus, procrastinates, feels on edge or sits in the car park negotiating with herself before cracking on again. Everyone else still sees reliability. She feels the constant calculation underneath it.

The fixer gets to keep the care, ambition and competence that make her brilliant. She also deserves support that does not depend on her organising it, and connection she can access without performing being okay.

This is why FoundHer Fire exists.

It gives experienced women in business scaffolding of their own, through coaching, shared intelligence and practical support they can access when they need it. A room where belonging is assumed and nobody has to earn her place by being useful to everyone else.

If you recognise yourself here, send me the word FIXER and I’ll send you the details.

If you recognise this pattern in one of your most capable women, my inbox is open to you too.

You make them think you got lucky.
When it was a whole lot of work.
When it didn’t happen over night.
When you rocked in a corner.
Got up, and cracked on, on purpose.
When you didn’t give up.
When it wasn’t easy.

That. Until you recognise it wasn’t luck, it was your fire, your potential, your grit, your graft, you cracking on; no-one else will.

It’s time to own your brilliance.
Let’s crack on.

Join FoundHer Fire by 3 September and you get an additional tool. For free.

If you’ve been circling FoundHer Fire. Reading the emails.Watching what we’re doing.

Thinking, “That sounds like my kind of room” and then carrying on with the seventeen other things demanding your attention…

This one is your sign to drop me a DM.

I’ve added something rather blinking good to FoundHer Fire.

Every woman who is a FoundHer Fire member by 3 September will receive a full Co-Valence behavioural profile, worth £90, at no additional cost.

You’ll receive your complete personal profile plus 12 months’ access to the Co-Valence app, which means this doesn’t become another interesting assessment that gets downloaded, admired and subsequently disappears into the depths of your laptop.

You can actually return to it and use it. Co-Valence helps you understand more about how you think, communicate, process information and work with other people.

Which, as you can probably imagine, fits beautifully with the Human Scaffolding work we’re already doing inside FoundHer Fire.

The more you understand about your own operating system, the more choice you have about how you work with it rather than spending half your life wondering why something that looks perfectly straightforward on paper is draining the living beejesus out of you.

And we’re not simply sending you the profile and wishing you luck.

On 7 September, James, one of the Co-Valence co-founders, is coming into FoundHer Fire to work through the profiles with us.

We’ll explore what your results mean for how you work, lead, manage your load, communicate and build relationships.

Whether you run your own business, lead inside an organisation, work across teams or are somewhere in the glorious mess of deciding what comes next, it gives you another practical lens through which to understand yourself.

And then, more importantly, do something useful with what you notice.

Join us. And turn your inner wisdom in to practical application for how you crack on in life, load and business.

Sometimes the thing draining you is the faff around the thing.

The email itself takes five minutes.

Finding the attachment, remembering which WhatsApp conversation the information was in, locating the charger and opening FINALfinalV3.2 takes another 25 and half your remaining will to live.

None of it is particularly difficult.

But when you’re already carrying a mahoosive load, all that tiny, irritating friction adds up.

This is one of the things I explore through my Human Scaffolding System, the operating system behind how we navigate life, leadership, business and load.

One of its six layers is Environment.

And your environment is far more than where you live or work. It’s everything around you that either makes what you want to do easier, or creates friction every blinking step of the way.

We’re very quick to make an internal diagnosis when something feels harder than it should.

I need to be more organised.
I need more focus.
I need to get my act together.

Maybe.

Or perhaps something around you is making an ordinary thing unnecessarily effortful.

So today’s tiny experiment is this:

Notice one piece of unnecessary friction and make it 1% easier.

Move it. Save it. Leave it ready. Change the meeting. Shut the door. Put the charger where you actually use the blinking charger.

Then see what happens.

This is the kind of practical work we do inside FoundHer Fire, strengthening your scaffolding around the life, leadership, business and load you’re actually carrying.

If you’re a woman with experience who wants a room where you can work on all of that together, come and have a nosy at FoundHer Fire. Link in bio.

And if you want the longer version of this video, including why your environment can change your behaviour and how I use Human Scaffolding to work with it, you’ll find the full film on my YouTube channel, Sarah Knight.

Sometimes you don’t need to try harder.

You need to make the trying less hard.

Let’s Crack on, on purpose. Together.

You’ve been told the goal is to “give zero f**ks.”

But that was never the point.

The real work is far more powerful than that.

It’s learning that your fcks are finite and finally becoming intentional about where they go.

Because you do care.

Deeply.

About your work. Your people. Your life. Your joy. The things that actually matter.

You’re just done scattering that care in a hundred directions that drain you, dilute you, or don’t deserve you.

This is the shift.

From over-giving… to discerning.

From automatic yes… to conscious choice.

From emotional exhaustion… to Grown Woman Intelligence.

GWI is what happens when you stop abandoning yourself in the name of being “good,” “helpful,” or “available.”

And start asking the question that changes everything:

Is this where I want my energy to go?

If that question is starting to echo in you too - you’re not behind.

You’re just getting started.

And this is exactly the work we do inside FoundHer Fire.

To help you reclaim your time, your energy, your focus… and your fcks to give.

So you can spend them on purpose.

If you’re ready for that level of clarity, power and self-trust, come join us inside FHF. Doors are open. Let’s crack on, on purpose.

There’s no deadline on your potential.

BUT possibility needs your participation.

At some point, you have to stop measuring your life against somebody else’s standard bearers of success and decide what yours are.

What do you want now?

What are you still ambitious for?

What would you have a crack at if you stopped wondering whether you were too old, too late, too established, too inexperienced or too far down a different road?

Drive can rise to meet you at any life stage. So can ambition.

It might look different now. Good.

You have more experience, more evidence, more perspective and a much clearer understanding of what you are prepared to give your energy to.

There is huge power in realising that the next move is yours.

You can back yourself.

You can choose.

You can take the first step.

You can give yourself permission to crack on.

One day or day one?

Possibility needs your participation.

And you are most definitely not done yet. Let’s crack on, on purpose.

And if you have no idea how, step inside FoundHer Fire. Doors are open for new members now.
