Bit of a weird one to take, scoreline probably flattering on one hand but on the other hand it's probably not as Fleur deserved it in the end 🙈
Going to Fleur one of the most consistent and top teams the last few seasons with a depleted squad we knew it was going to be a tough game but damn we gave them a good go 💪
First half we were the better team and had we taken our chances we could of had a comfortable lead at half time, second half we started decent again but it was just before the 70 minute mark we faded, a mix of tired legs, no attacking options on the bench and Fleur De Lys Football Club football experience and organization against a newly formed team that unfortunately put us to bed 😞
Gotta give it to Fleur they switched it on as soon as they saw us get vulnerable and scored 4 goals towards the end 👏
Alot more positives than negatives for us tho and we look forward to facing them in the cup with a stronger squad in just over a week 👊
D*ck of the Day was Dan Rosser for the reason he knows why 😂 (video to follow)
MOTM was our captain Jiffy, played as a proper leader for 90 mins, was absolutely everywhere and made the game his own 💪
Massive thank you to Fleur for giving us the opportunity to play on a superb pitch against a superb team, hospitality after the game was spot on aswell 👏👏
