🩷⚽ LILLY JONES MEMORIAL CUP UPDATE ⚽🩷

Following our previous post regarding Lilly's Day, the response from our local community has been nothing short of incredible.

The messages, offers of support, donations, volunteers, and businesses coming forward to help have truly overwhelmed us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has reached out. Your kindness and generosity during such a difficult time show exactly what our community is all about.

We are delighted to announce that we have now secured 8 food and drink stalls, funfair rides, live artists, and much more to help make the day a special occasion in memory of Lilly. We are continuing to work behind the scenes to add even more attractions and entertainment, with full details to be announced soon.

We are also inviting any local businesses who may be interested in sponsoring the event to get in touch. Every penny raised through sponsorship will be donated directly to Lilly's family, helping us provide as much support as possible during this heartbreaking time.

This day is about coming together as a community, celebrating Lilly's life, supporting her family, and creating a lasting legacy through what will become an annual event.

There is still plenty more to come, and we will be providing regular updates over the coming weeks as plans continue to grow.

🩷⚽ LILLY JONES MEMORIAL CUP ⚽🧡

On Saturday 18th July, Beaufort Colts will take on Nantyglo FC in the very first Lilly Jones Memorial Cup, taking place at Beaufort Colts Hilltop Stadium from 1pm until 6pm.

Following the heartbreaking and tragic loss of young Lilly, our football community wanted to come together in a way that would honour her memory, celebrate her life, and raise funds to support her family during such a difficult time.

This event is about more than football. It's about community, compassion, and showing that when one family hurts, we all stand together. We want to give friends, families, and supporters the opportunity to come together, remember Lilly, and create positive memories in her honour.

There will be food vendors on site, a bar available throughout the day, and we are currently working hard to arrange even more entertainment to make the day as special as possible for everyone attending.

Most importantly, all money raised through collections and competitions on the day will be donated directly to Lilly's family. We encourage everyone attending to bring plenty of cash, support the fundraising activities, and help us raise as much as possible for a family facing an unimaginable loss.

We are proud to announce that the Lilly Jones Memorial Cup will become an annual event, ensuring Lilly's memory lives on for years to come and that her legacy continues to bring people together.

💔With heavy hearts, we join our community in mourning the tragic loss of a young life taken far too soon 💔

There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing a child. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences from everyone at Beaufort Colts FC are with her family, friends, classmates, and everyone whose life she touched. A loss like this is felt by an entire community, and today we stand together in sorrow, remembering a young girl whose future held so much promise.

May her family find strength in the love and support that surrounds them during this unimaginably difficult time. May cherished memories bring comfort in the days ahead, and may she rest in eternal peace.
