Our under 17 squadrons kicked off the 2026 campaign last weekend in Reading playing games against our hosts and

The red squadron had a tough start against a very well drilled Red Storm team but rebounded to get the first win of the season against the Renegades

Our blue squadron faced a tough day with 3 injury pullouts but meant that we fielded a Spitfires first with more female athletes than male in a team for the first time ever as 4 girls and 2 boys made up the squad.

The blues fought hard all day long and after two tough losses we secured a win in the final game on the final play! A great moment to cap off a great effort all day long!

We now get back prepping for the next round in May!

Last Saturday our U14 🔵 and 🔴 squads took to the field to kick off their 2026 National League campaigns with games against the hosts and local friends and rivals

The blue squadron included 3 flag football debuts and 5 former u11s get their first taste of u14 football - this young team performed great with everyone delivering positive play all over the field and getting to grips with the game very well

The red squadron also had a couple of debuts and 2 u11 step ups and went on to win both games with positive stats for all players who continue to challenge themselves to get better.

Thanks to our hosts, opponents and all the offficals for a brilliant day of flag football!

Last Saturday saw the U11 take part in gameday 2 of the 2026 YFFL Season. A great first game against saw us take win number 2 for the season and loss with a final play heartbreaker against Black plus a loss gain against the ever impressive Red

Gameday 3 is in just 2 weeks so we prepare to go again with more experience under the belt and loads of exciting football to play. 2 more Flag Football debuts completed and loads of fun had - a huge thanks to our hosts and all the officials on the day

ITS GAMEDAY! An action packed day is in store for all as we fly 5 squadrons up the M3 to Reading University SportsPark to see our hosts

This is our season kick off for the U14 and U17 and we will play and in South West Conference football

The U11s continuing their season in the Southern Conference with games against and Black and Red teams

It’s going to be an action packed day of Football action so look out for a sea of Spitfires coming into to land!

Last Saturday our under 11 kicked off the new YFFL Season with football action hosted by - it was great to get the season underway see some new rookies take the field and enjoy the Flag action. 1 win and 2 losses meant it was a mixed day but all the players should be proud of themselves - back to training ahead of gameday 2 in April!
