So sad to say that the gym equipment is being sold! If anyone is interested in any of the equipment, sun bed or cctv system please inbox. The council will give us access this week should any of you wish to view or collect. Kind Regards

It’s with great sadness that I have to inform you all that Samson’s Gym will not be reopening. I have to apologise for the lack of communication however the council restricted access so the computer has been difficult to access. I’d like to thank you for all your support over the years. It’s not just a gym that’s going it’s a community. We wish all our Samson’s family well in the future.
I would advise everyone to cancel their direct debits with the bank. It is not Samsons that take the direct debits but a third party so we have no control. For all the members that have had direct debits taken from your account then we apologise. You will be able to claim this bank via your direct debit guarantee. We believe this is a fairly straight forward process and fast but you will need to contact your bank. Thank you again for all of your support over the years and best of luck with the future. We are absolutely devastated as I’m sure you are and we’re so sorry we couldn’t keep Samsons alive 😔

On Friday we will get the Councils final decision on the gyms future!
Let’s get the petition to over 1000 votes and help make their decision for them💪🏼

Dear Members,

Thank you all for your continuing support, you are all a credit to the gym and hopefully we shall get the positive outcome that we all crave.

We had a positive meeting with the council yesterday and a final decision shall be made by them next Friday.

They were very impressed with the proposal that we had presented to them which lets be fair was always going to be far better than their idea for self storage. We have also been in contact with the local MP and Councillors for which I will have follow up conversations with tomorrow.

My next stage is to get the local media down the gym next week for interviews with ourselves and of course you the members so that you can put your side across. we will also be looking to organise a event in Eastleigh center in support of the Gym to add further pressure for a positive decision.

I would also like to put a massive shout out to Julian who through this whole process has been superb!!! All in all we can do this guys we will win and the gym will be returned to you guys the members!!!!

💥 GYM UPDATE 💥

The new owners are and will continue to work hard over the weekend to get the gym reopened. They have been in conversation with Eastleigh Borough council all day, and will be on their case first thing Monday morning.

We are going to need YOUR full support to get the best outcome for the gym and its members. To do this we need references from yourselves. They need state why the gym is of use to you and mention if you have any competitions upcoming, how the gym is supporting you for them. We need the references emailed by Monday afternoon at the latest. Please send the references to: [email protected]

This gym needs to be brought back to the people and we as the new owners will try our upmost best to achieve this.

Unfortunately the gym will remain closed for the weekend and Monday. we will update you as soon as possible.
