There's a framework I use with leaders who feel like this. I call it FLOURISH.

The first piece is Foundation. Before strategy, before goals, before the next big move, what are you actually standing on?

Most leaders build their entire careers on a foundation they never checked. Then something happens: a loss, a burnout, a forced transition, and the cracks show up all at once.

Foundation isn't about having it all figured out. It's about knowing what's true about you even when everything else is shaking.

I sat across from a leader last year who had everything on paper. Title. Salary. Respect. The kind of career people say they want.

He told me, "I don't know when I stopped being me and started just performing me."

He wasn't burnt out from work. He was burnt out from holding up a version of himself that had nothing left underneath it.

That's not a productivity problem. That's a foundation problem.

You're calm in the meeting and shaking in the car after the meeting.

You can't remember the last decision you made without checking who'd be upset by it.

You look successful and feel empty at the same time.
You've stopped asking what you actually want.
