Some may wonder what this tray of parts from a very special bike represents.
Well for starters this rare survivor is in fact none other than a complete 1998 Mk1 Rotec Moto-link DH ordered by its original owner, who was not only a rippin SoCal Rotec racer but a member of the Rotec Factory sponsored Team Keebler Racing crew..
Word has it this was its 1st teardown since 1998..i can believe it..
BB cups are prestine..xtr bb tool was the tool needed to install and remove them and these notches, to me prove a production install down to their original butter l**e used during assembly.
Whats remarkable is its parts are amazingly....well, not trashed...in particular no galling of the link pins
or the bushing that notoriously....well just plain sucked.
ORIGINAL...AC cranks straight from the Rotec catalog ...yes, before ordering off the web.
Now belongs to a long time Rotec Nation participant and prolific Rotec collector with as much passion as he has patience.
