Relax Sunday

It's far too hot for a bath today, so today's Sunday reset is happening outside in the shade instead.

🍋 I've gone for Sicilian Lemon today. It just feels fresh and uplifting on a hot afternoon.

Time too have twenty minutes.

Phone down.

Candle lit.

Just a little time to recharge before the week starts.

How to find Jevington Candles?
If you are visiting the South Downs, pop into the Seven Sisters Visitors Centre, located at Exceat on the Cuckmere river. BN25 4AD.

You can now find Jevington Candles at the beautiful Seven Sisters Country Park Visitor Centre in Exceat.

Our Seven Sisters, South Downs Way and Cuckmere Haven collections are available to smell and purchase in the Visitor Centre shop, surrounded by the landscapes that inspired them.

Whether you're walking the South Downs Way, exploring Friston Forest, visiting the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs, or simply enjoying a day out in East Sussex, pop in and experience our candles in person.

It's wonderful to see so many visitors taking home a little reminder of Sussex after their visit. 💙

Hello 👋

Some of you may have noticed that this page has had a bit of a makeover!

Many years ago, this page was home to our Power Hoop and fitness classes. Since then, life has taken me in a different direction. After undergoing two knee replacement operations, I had to step away from the exercise industry that I loved so much.

What many people don't know is that during the Covid lockdowns, I discovered a new passion. What started with a simple candle-making kit and a batch of handmade Christmas candles for family and friends quickly grew into something much bigger.
Six years later, that hobby has become Jevington Candles.

Today, we're proud to create a range of beautifully scented candles inspired by the South Downs and the Sussex countryside. Our candles are also stocked at the South Downs National Park Visitor Centre, which we're incredibly proud of.

I've decided to keep this page rather than start completely from scratch, as many of you have been part of my journey over the years. While I know candles may not be everyone's thing, I'd be so grateful if you'd stay along for the ride. The occasional like, comment or share really does make a difference to a small independent business.

I've also created a dedicated Instagram page and would love for you to follow us there, and if you'd like to see more behind-the-scenes content, new products and market updates, we'd be delighted to welcome you over on Instagram too.
