Fantastic turn out in the club this morning for our Summer Competition Finals and the crowd were entertained with four great finals . . .

Breast Cancer Now Cream Tea

A very big thank you to all the Members who came to the Cream Tea in aid of BREAST CANCER NOW and those that kindly donated.

A great afternoon was had by all. Denise and Leanne gave us delicious scones and cake. Dave Parks did a quiz and there was a raffle,
sweepstakes and a 'throw the teabag' competition.

The total amount raised was £757

Another fun evening with our quiz master Dave setting some very tricky questions covering, comedy, music, general knowledge, anagrams and country houses! 12 teams took part the strongest team taking home the chocolate buttons was “Sharon’s Not Turned Up” in second place tonight was “The Naughty Corner” and the winners were “Five Go Mad on the Bowling Green”.
Thanks as always to the social team for sorting the raffle etc, to all those who helped set the tables, to Sophie behind the bar and to Dave and his fabulous assistant Liz who also helped behind the bar 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Next event is a charity Afternoon Tea in aid of Breast Cancer Now on Wednesday 19th August at 2:30 a few tickets still available then on Friday 21st it’s Bingo with the Bingo Boys Chris & George 7pm for 7:30 start £10 a book and two flyers, 14 games in all.

Members,
Please come and make up a team of up to 6 members. You are welcome to bring your own nibbles.Tickets are £3.50 per team member.
We need a few more teams to make this event viable. It is always a fun evening with prizes to be won.

There will also be a raffle.
