You might be able to see, just between the two loads of scaffolding, that our door is open.

It's been a long road back from the leak that did so much damage back in January. But after dealing with the water and mould, the building work to repair the ceiling and moving everything out of the shop and back in again, the Students of the Game shop is open again!

Thank you to everybody who showed us patience as we worked everything through and a special thanks to customers old and new who ordered online while the shop was shut.

It's been lovely talking to people in the shop over the past couple of weeks as we started opening the door but we're now back stronger than ever. Except for the poxy scaffolding.

🚨 Shop closed due to leak 😡

The shop suffered another leak through the ceiling over the weekend, causing a lot of dismay and damage (as you can see).

It's going to take some time for it to be made safe again and we have a lot of work to save stock and try to get back on our feet.

Sadly, that means the shop will be shut for the foreseeable. We're still open and taking orders online and will use this time to try to come back better than ever. It just feels a bit rubbish at the moment.

Apologies to anybody looking to pop in to buy or sell over the next couple of weeks. I'll keep everyone updated but for now I'm off to build an ark.

🧡 On This Day: Netherlands Reach 100 International Matches 💙

On this day in 1928 the Netherlands played their 100th international match, a 1-1 draw against Belgium.

In the near-century since, the Oranje have become icons of international football, known for their stylish play and unforgettable kits.
