The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport is a local festival dedicated to all things inclusive sport!

Come along and try out a new sport, or an adaptation of a sport you already love. This event is run by Defiant Sports and Eastbourne Access Group.

❌ EFAS 2026 Cancelled ❌

Unfortunately, due to a lack of interest we have made the tough decision to cancel the Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport 2026.

We will be coming back in 2027 with additional resources put into the event to ensure greater uptake.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to see you there next year.

Our annual Eastbourne Festival of Accessible sport is a day full of fully accessible and adaptable sporting activity as well as a chance to speak with local accessible providers about the fantastic things happening that you can get involved with.

🎉 EFAS 2026 - Have Your Say 🗣️

With our annual Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport (EFAS) taking place in just over 6 months, we wanted to hear if you have any suggestions for our 2026 event.

Got a provider you'd like invited? A sport you're interested in? Maybe a whole new area or service the event could include? Let us know in the comments below!

Any idea - big or small - will help us make EFAS the best it can be. So please don't feel scared to pop your idea down.

🎪 EFAS 2025: Completed ✅

The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport 2025 is over - but we had such a blast and hope you did too!

It was so great to see new and familiar faces join in with all the activities at this year’s event.

We would like to say a big thank you to our providers who came along and set up stalls and held activities for our attendees:

Care for the Carers
Eastbourne Blind Society
Swoove Stars with Jo
Yoga Shambhu

And we can't forget to say thank you to all those who attended and hopefully had geat days. We can't to see you all again next year!

Speaking of next year, EFAS 2026 will be on Saturday, September 5th 2026. So, pencil down the date in your diaries and we’ll see you then!

📄 EFAS Map & Timetable information 🗺️

We’re now 1️ day away from The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport 2025 - so check out our map and arena timetable!

Featured on our map is how tomorrow’s event is going to be laid out. Breaking down the map, you’ll find areas like:

• Entrance and blue badge parking*
• Where to find all the stalls and activities
• Bouncy castle, skate ramps and our newly assembled trampoline
• The Accessible Bike track which is located on the adjacent court
• Stephen The Sensory Bus
• Our Inclusion Hub where you can find refreshments, snacks and first aid

*Please note that the area marked for blue badge parking is limited and is first come first served.

So why not come down to the Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA between 10am-4pm tomorrow and celebrate a day of inclusive sport!

What is The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport? A local festival dedicated to all things inclusive sport! Run by us here at Defiant Sports, it’s a day you won’t want to miss out on!

🎊 EFAS is Back for it's 5th Year! 🎉

The Eastbourne Festival of Accessible Sport (or EFAS) is an annual event to showcase all the incredible accessibility-focused providers from across Eastbourne and neighbouring towns.

It's a great opportunity for anyone with access needs, disabilities, or neurodivergence to find local service providers tailored to their needs.

This year's event will be taking place on Saturday the 6th of September from 10am - 4pm at the Defiant Sports Inclusion Hub, BN22 8RA.
