We are on for the Surf Comp this weekend!!!

See you at shore road on Saturday 10th June at 9am.

As usual, if the conditions are not perfect for surfing there will be an alternative sporting event. Maybe a race around the bouys or run down the beach... we will come up with something fun.

Fingers crossed we get some some surf.

Shore Surf Club are proud to support the Surfers Against Sewage Beach Clean.

The event is on 9th April from 12-3pm.

Meeting in the car park on east Bracklesham drive (opposite end to Billy's cafe).

Massive THANK YOU to our groms, their parents, members and all the sponsors of the 2016 Shore Surf Comp!

The 2016 results were as follows:

Under 10yrs boys:
1st place = Max 2410 points
2nd place = Zak 900 points

Under 14 girls:
1st place = Amber 1410 points

under 14 boys:
1st place = Alex 2560 points
2nd place = Dan 1540 points
3rd place = Jago 1320 points

Under 16 girls:
1st place = Sophie 2530 points
2nd place = Daisy 810 points

Under 16 boys:
1st place = Luke 2000 points

We have just been contacted by someone who found a GoPro on the beach this weekend. They have asked us if we can help reunite the GoPro with its rightful owner.

Sign in for the Groms is at 12 noon on the beach... we will be under a popup gazebo...

Comp starts at 12:30 prompt... if the conditions are not conducive for surfing then we will hold another form of competition... Should be fun!!!

Never has so much fun happen on such small waves!

Well done to all the kids that got in the water today. It started with a run / paddle race round the bouys, then there was a team race round the bouys, and finished up with an actual surf comp in pretty much non-existent waves!

The groms were told to "go out and impress the judges"....they were super inventive in the one inch waves and was probably more fun than and real surf...

Again, super well done and fingers crossed for some actually rideable surf next time...
