Out of office - in the moment 💛

As you know Alicia & Nic are leading Yoga Barn Retford Moroccan retreat. We’ve tried really hard not to Life lately: Morocco 🇲🇦 edition the group.

It’s just so hard so for the next week LOOK AWAY - We will probably be living off this for a very long time.

We hope you are enjoying your classes with the incredible instructors ❤️ we already miss you all.

Tomorrow we have Yoga in a magical cave, panoramic coastal tour, and a sunset dinner over looking the sea. Thank you Riad Janoub

DON’T TRUST YOUR BODY. 👀

Yep. We said it.

Because sometimes what you think you’re doing…

AND what you’re actually doing…

are two completely different things. 🦵

This week we’re taking away the autopilot and turning up the awareness.

Eyes closed.
Slow it down.
Lose the mirror.
Feel the wobble.
Find your way back.

It’s not about making the pose look right.

It’s about discovering what your body is actually telling you.

That’s the yogic practice of Dharana concentration.

Less looking.👀

More feeling.❤️

And maybe discovering you know your body far less…

I CAN’T DO YOGA… 🧘‍♀️

“I’m not flexible.” 🙅‍♀️
“I can’t touch my toes.” 🦶
“I’ve got no balance.” 🤸‍♀️
“I’m too stiff.” 😬
“I’m too old.” 👵🏼
“I’m not fit enough.” 🫣
“I’ve never done yoga before.” 😳
“I’ll look silly.” 😂
“I don’t know what I’m doing.” 🤷‍♀️
“I need to get fit BEFORE I start yoga.” 🫠

Yep… we’ve heard them all. 😂

But here’s the thing…

You don’t do yoga because you’re already flexible.

You do yoga to become more flexible. 🌿

You don’t need to be strong.
You don’t need to be bendy.
You don’t need to know what you’re doing. (We don’t sometimes).

You just need to turn up. ✨

Come exactly as you are.
