🎊🎇ILLUMINATED BOAT PARADE 🎇🎊

🚨SATURDAY 25TH OCTOBER 2025🚨

DRAKEHOLES (DN10 5DF) traveling along the canal to RWBC at CLAYWORTH (DN22 9AJ)

You are invited to join our members as they decorate their narrowboats and cruisers with lights, music and other effects and travel along the Chesterfield Canal as a parade ( hopefully 😀)

The boats leave Drakeholes at 6pm and pass through Wiseton and they arrive at Clayworth approximately 7:30pm.

😊This is a *free event* for you to spectate and appreciate the efforts of our members who take the time to do this for fun and at their own expense😁

👀You are welcome to watch from all the towpaths

🛑Please don't stand on main roads and road bridges.

🦺Remember to be safe near the water and roads.

🅿️Please park responsibly and respectfully

🍻RWBC Bar is open from 6pm at Clayworth ( Alcohol and soft drinks)

🌭 Hot Dogs available from RWBC Clayworth.

Don't forget to bring a torch 🔦 towpaths are dark and uneven, sensible footwear 🥾 and wrap up warm for the weather 🧣
