Wetlands Specimen Carp Lake is roughly 9.5 acres and has carp to over 30lb and has many features to fish too such as islands,snags and over hangs. The lake has 10 pegs all of which are double pegs with pegs 3,4 and 5 able to accommodate 3 to 4 anglers if fishing as a group. The pegs are large enough for two 1 or 2 man bivvies and also have a wooden Shelter for cooki

ng and socialising with most shelters having a night light and USB charging. All the swims have different features to fish too and the water depth varies throughout the lake. we have an onsite tackle shop for end tackle and bait.

Despite the slow thaw this afternoon and late evening there still remains quite a thickness of ice on the lake . As a result the site will remain CLOSED tomorrow Wednesday 7th January .
We are hoping the lake will be thawed in time for this coming Friday if the above zero weather continues...

1st July 1944- 26 August 2025
Passed away peacefully at Doncaster Royal Infirmary aged 81 years.
Beloved Husband of Sheila, Loving Father of Marie and Richard. Dear Grandad of Paris, Harriet, Millie, Ethan and Great Grandad of Paisley, Jemima, Ralphie, Delila & Penelope.
The funeral service will take place at Barnby Moor Crematorium on Saturday 20th September at 11am.
The wake will be at Wetlands Lakes , starting 12pm, everyone is welcome.
Flowers welcome but donations in Clive's memory to Dementia UK if desired.

Here's Craig who fished peg 1 recently having a great session , having split tail twice at 29lb and Quasi at 33lb on the nose he then went on to land a 16lb.5, 19lb .3lb, 14.4 lb, 17.3lb !
