Daneshill sailing club Family friendly sailing club located at the stunning Daneshill Nature reserve. Free taster sessions available!

If you have ever thought of trying sailing but never had the opportunity… now is the time to give it a go… At Daneshill Sailing Club we have the boats, qualified Instructors, and the water to help you try it out ! For a free “Taster” session, bring a change of clothes and a towel just in case… and we will do the rest. Our lake is situated within Daneshill Nature Reserve, with walks available for t

he non-sailors, so bring a picnic and make it a family occasion. We run both adult and junior RYA recognised courses during the summer for anyone who wants a challenge. We are located 4 miles north of Retford, just off the A638 at Torworth. Follow the signs for the Daneshill Nature Reserve and park in the car park, following the vehicle path through the green gate and find us at the lakeside. For a free taster session come down next Sunday between 11:00 and 16:00 and introduce yourself and one of our instructors or members will happily take you out on a boat.

Remember to join us this Sunday 11:00-16:00 when we hold our free give it a go open day. With instructors available to help you get on the water and try sailing. It's perfect for a chilled day with the family, or an exciting activity where you can make new friends. Lowscales Coffee Ltd will also be at the lakeside providing light refreshments.
