The Role
We are looking for an experienced Part Time Removals Assessor to join our team.
This flexible role involves visiting customers in their homes to discuss their moving requirements and assess the contents of their property to enable accurate quotations to be prepared. Where a home visit isn't practical, you will also conduct video surveys with customers.
As the first point of face to face contact for many of our customers, you will play an important role in representing Premier Movers and creating a positive friendly first impression.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out home visit surveys at customers' properties.
Conduct video surveys when required.
Assess the volume and nature of items to be moved.
Identify any access restrictions or special requirements.
Discuss packing, storage and any additional services available.
Gather accurate information to assist the office team in preparing quotations.
Build rapport with customers and provide reassurance throughout the moving process.
Maintain detailed notes and survey records.
Conducting a risk assessment.
Represent Premier Movers professionally and positively at all times.
Essential Requirements
Previous removals industry experience is essential.
A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to put customers at ease without using pressure sales techniques.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confidence using smartphones, tablets and video calling technology.
A full UK driving licence.
The flexibility to work around customer availability.
