🇬🇧 MEDAL MONDAY 🇬🇧

This one is for all of my clients/friends who have supported me, wished me luck and taken interest in another marathon block! The words of encouragement and support yesterday were unreal, felt so loved and thought of… still riding the marathon high waiting for the marathon blues to set in! 🤣

I promised myself I would look up and smile as much as possible this year and enjoy it more than anything, rather than thinking about the end result! If only I hadn’t weaved for an extra 0.8 of a mile, I may have got a PB?!? 🤷🏼‍♀️

4 years into setting up Issy Health Fitness Yoga, and I finally have my own mat and Zabuton!

As always delivers with their eco-friendly, sustainably sourced products. My newest additions are my zabuton (seen in this photo) and crescent meditation cushions; can’t wait to use them in my classes very soon!

🏃‍♀️ MANCHESTER MARATHON TRAINING 🏃‍♀️

I’m excited to get this block of training underway! It’s been over 2 years since I last trained for a marathon.
My last marathon was in London in October 2022. It’ll be my first winter training block which will no doubt have it’s challenges but this time I’ll be using to help me focus my training, with an aim of completing 4 runs a week and 3 strength sessions interspersed with some yoga and foam rolling 😫

I am privileged to be able to do this as my job. 3 years ago I was still working as a PE teacher struggling to juggle work/life/family balance. This week I am so honoured to be asked as a guest onto the podcast to talk all things ‘happy thriving Mum’s’. I am so excited to share my journey with you all 3 years on!

- 3 x 75 minute functional yoga (vinyasa) classes
- 3 x 1 hour lunch flow (vinyasa) classes
- 1 x 75 minute Well-being yoga class (slow)

All classes between 6-8 clients, personal and bespoke approach! ❤️

2 years of Issy Health Fitness Yoga - so grateful as always for a lot of things this time of year. Family and my health always top of the list! 🙏🏻❤️😍

Time to set some new challenges for 2024! No marathon for me this year but a couple of half marathons including a PB 🙌🏻

Thanks for everyone’s support and love. I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful clients that have become good friends too. To do a job you love, in your back garden, which makes people feel good about themselves is a dream for me 🙏🏻 ❤️

❤️ BATH HALF MARATHON ❤️

Race day tomorrow - 8 weeks of solid training and I’ll be giving 13.1 miles another crack down in Bath.

Excited to see what tomorrow brings after an unexpected 1.34.37 half in April.

As always, grateful to get to the start line and experience those race day vibes again ❤️ The extra bonus is I get to race with my lovely friend 🥰

P.s. giving the their first race outing too! See if they can help knock off a few seconds 🤞🏻
