This is the official page of EKGC, a competitive gymnastics club based in East Kilbride.

EKGC is a competitive gymnastics club based in a well equipped facility in Colvilles Place, East Kilbride. The club accepts gymnasts of all ages, from as soon as a child can walk to much older. Congratulations to all our gymnasts who competed at the Scottish Championships this weekend. Everyone worked so hard in preparation for this competition and we are very proud of you all! 🫶🏻

Huge congratulations to our 2 partnerships who headed down to the British Championships to represent Scotland and our club 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dundonald Floor and Vault Competition well done to all our gymnasts who competed you all did amazing !!!

- Layla had a great performance competing a new vault
- Emma came second overall with a ribbon on vault and winning floor
- Nina and Jessica came joint 4th on floor

A massive congratulations to our Grade 4 trio Chloe, Robyn and Anna who were representing Scotland at the Inter-regional Championships and placed 1st 🥇with a brilliant routine 💙🫶🏻

The girls did the whole club proud and have worked so hard to achieve this 💪🏻🥰

The girls score was part of Team Scotland who also won the team trophy 🏆 huge well done to all the gymnasts in the team as well !!!!

East Kilbride sports council awards night 🏆

On Sunday night some of our club members attended the EK sports council awards night in East Kilbride village theatre where EKGC were announced as club of the year winners!! 🏆

This is an amazing achievement which we are all very proud of, this wouldn’t be possible without all our gymnasts, coaches, admin staff, parents, committee members and everyone else behind the scenes who supports EKGC we are extremely grateful for you all. ✨

We also had other members of the club nominated in a number of categories, this is a great achievement to have all your hard work recognised, well done to the following nominees:

Stacy Reid - Coach of the year
Orlaith Russell - U12 junior gymnast of the year
Eve McMillan - U12 junior gymnast of the year
Freya Smith - U12 junior gymnast of the year
Kira Sharp - U18 junior gymnast of the year
Hunter Ness - U12 junior gymnast of the year
Abbie, Maisie and Sunny - junior team of the year
