It’s a chance to switch off, move, perform and enjoy the feeling of dancing without overthinking every little thing.

For some dancers, it’s where confidence starts to grow. For others, it’s simply the class they look forward to all week.

Sometimes it’s joining in without hesitation.
Trying a step again after getting it wrong.
Standing a little taller.
Performing in front of others.
Or walking into class feeling more comfortable than the week before.

Meet Nicole 🖤

Nicole has been part of Center Stage for over 20 years, growing from student to class helper, assistant teacher and now substitute teacher.

Here’s a little introduction from Nicole herself:

“I’ve been dancing with Center Stage for over 20 years now, though neither Natalie nor I care to admit out loud that it’s been that long! Since Natalie is my sister, I’ve never known life without her, and at this point, I barely know life without Center Stage either.

Over the years, I’ve gone from student, to class helper, assistant teacher and now my most recent role, ‘substitute teacher’.

While I can’t be at every single class anymore, you’ll still catch me dancing in my own class each week and standing in to teach whenever Natalie or the other girls need backup.

It’s impossible to pick a favourite style, but a good jazz routine will always be a top contender. 💃✨”

Dance is so much more than a weekly class. 💜

It’s the excitement of stepping on stage. The friendships made along the way. Learning to work as a team, building confidence and discovering what you’re capable of.

At Center Stage, our dancers have opportunities to learn, perform, grow and make memories together, both in the studio and on stage. ✨

And with classes in Tap, Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Freestyle and Acro, there are plenty of ways to find the one they love.

Rachael has been dancing for 22 years and has been part of the Centre Stage family for the last 9 years.

Here's what she had to say...

"I've been dancing for 22 years, and Centre Stage has been my second home for the last 9 years. Ballet and lyrical have always been my favourite styles. Dance has given me so many amazing memories and opportunities over the years, and I'm so grateful to now share that passion with the next generation."
