Pupils from St John Bosco have been tasked with designing the Team Monty shirt, and after carefully reviewing all submitted designs, we have our finalists.

CLYDER CUP UPDATE:

Entry:
We currently have 40 players entered for this year's event. This leaves a total of 32 spaces remaining. If you or anyone you know wishes to take part, please get in touch asap, so I can begin organising everything for our players.

Shirts:
I'm just awaiting both schools completing their shirt projects for us. Once done, I will collect the designs and arrange to pick winners so we can design our tops for the event.

Fourballs:
You will have seen that I received a number of fourball vouchers to sell to help raise funds for the event. I have reduced these again to ensure they sell and get used for the summer. If anyone is interested, drop me a message, let's haggle and get you & your mates a day out.

Sponsorship:
I'm still looking for event and hole sponsors for this years Clyder Cup. Please reach out if you or anyone you know is interested.

If any players are looking for a personal banner to be added to the course, please reach out and I can discuss the process for this over and above the course sponsorship.

*** ⛳️ Clyder Cup Announcement ⛳️ ***

Hi everyone,

After a lot of thought, I wanted to share that this year’s Clyder Cup at Erskine GC on 30th August will be the final one…(at least for a while).

With personal and work commitments changing, I’m no longer able to give the event the time, energy, and attention it deserves. It’s a decision that genuinely hurts to make, but it’s the right one for now.

The Clyder Cup has always been a huge undertaking - months of planning, organising, and creating the chaos we all love and I simply don’t have the availability to keep delivering it at the standard it’s reached.

On the positive side, I’m looking at bringing the event back every few years, and in between I’ll be organising smaller‑scale golf days that are easier to run and more cost‑friendly. I’d love to see as many of you as possible at those when they come around.

With this being the 5th anniversary, my goal is to make 2026 the most memorable Clyder Cup yet - a proper sign‑off that shows how far we’ve come together.

If you, or anyone you know, would like to take part or support the event through sponsorship to help make this final edition the biggest and best, please drop me a message

The Clyder Cup has only ever been what it is because of the people who show up, get involved, and support it year after year. Thank you for everything and I can’t wait to see you all in August.
