We run a strength and conditioning class where mums can bring along their babies on Tuesday and Friday late mornings. 👶🏼

It is called Dumbbells and Diapers. 🏋️‍♀️

We practice bracing, we lift appropriate weights, we focus on core and upper back strength to reduce achy backs for mums and we get of breath. 🌬️

We split the work 50/50 with another mum so the little ones always have the attention they need while you still get a great workout. 🫂

Because you came here to be coached 💡

One of our core values is inclusion. 🤝
To us this means that no matter your fitness level we will be able to accommodate a world class fitness experience for you.👶🏼💁‍♀️👴🏻

For a wide variety of people with differing fitness levels to workout together you need to get individualised feedback from a coach every time you walk into the gym.🗣

At a certain coach to client ratio this becomes unlikely if not impossible. ❌
When you have too many people in the room and not enough coaching what happens is that the already very fit people thrive while the newer trainees struggle to survive because the coaches can’t meet them where they are.

This is not the sort of environment that we are building.

No matter your fitness level, we will tailor your training experience to you, personally, every single time. 🫶🏻

But you will get fit if you start🥳

Often the people you see in our images look like they’re already doing really well. 💪🏼
But it wasn’t always that way. They started off just like you. 🫵

Knowing they needed to change something, feeling like they were already falling behind and not knowing where to start.🤷🏽‍♀️

I know, the first step is the scariest one.
But after you’ve taken it you’ll just be wishing you had done so sooner.⏰

Regardless of if you decide to do classes or personal training at Average Joe’s, we always start off by teaching you the foundational techniques for safe & effective strength training. And we do this very well.

We hope that you’ll continue to improve your strength for the rest of your life, so we’re not in a rush.

We take the time to make sure that you feel confident in your ability before progressing.

If you have:
- never been taught correctly before
- have been rushed through the learning process too quickly in the past
- have been pushed too far, too soon with weights before

Then we are here to make sure that you have a good experience with strength training this time around.
