The UKSA & The EGHA Hockey Academy focuses on player development from relative beginners to intermediates and beyond. We incorporate core skills and key elements that will assist players to the next level, whether that may be at school, club, JDC, JAC or JRPC. Our group sizes are kept as small as possible so that our expert coaching staff can cater for each players individual needs more efficientl

Coached by elite national and international player/coaches including former Olympians, National League Players and current EGHC Men’s 1stXI Players including coach Mark Pearn, Ashley Jackson, Darren Cheesman, John Williams, Glenn Kirkham, Gareth Carr, Wes Jackson, Scott Ashdown, Matt Jones, Mike Holland, Oli Bell, Andy Piper, Donovan Smith (Barbados) Josh Ewens, Luke Taylor, Ollie Ashdown and England CCC Goalkeeper Coach Giles Dakin to name just a few of the coaching team. Each of the groups covers all aspects of the sport from basic handling skills to game play situations and set plays. Specialist hockey goalkeeper coaching is also available. In addition to hockey courses, the EG Hockey Academy provides specialist coaching for schools, INSET days and clubs. 1 on 1 tuition can be arranged by appointment.
