🏏 Final League Results – 2026 🏏
And just like that, the 2026 Sussex Cricket League season is complete. 💙💛
The 1st XI finished with a hard-fought defeat to Haywards Heath CC, but did enough across the season to secure their place in the division for 2027. A huge mention to Ben Green, who signed off with an excellent 90, while Ben Vale, Rhodri Lewis and Neil Divall all picked up two wickets.
The 2nd XI had a difficult final afternoon against Keymer & Hassocks CC. Despite contributions from Henry Groves (44) and Gabe Nix (32), the result means the 2s will unfortunately be relegated. A tough ending, but plenty of effort and commitment shown throughout the season.
The 3rd XI ended on a high with a brilliant 38-run victory over Lingfield CC. Woody Rogers produced a superb 106, supported by James Green (75), before Bryce Van Straaten (3-37), Curtis Philp (2-26) and Charlie Parnell (2-39) helped complete the win and secure the 3s’ place for next season.
A huge thank you to every player, captain, scorer, umpire, volunteer, supporter and family member who has played a part in getting our teams onto the field this summer.
There have been highs, lows, close finishes, standout performances and plenty of young players stepping up along the way.
