My Emily has had a big sort out in her playroom this week… many of you know Emily is a horder 🙈 but she’s much happier seeing her things she no longer plays with go to our swimmers and other children so please pop up and see us!

💦 Baby Swimming Summer Specials – Two Thursdays Only!

Looking for something special to do with your little one this summer?

We’re running two Baby Swimming Summer Specials this Thursday 6th and next Thursday 13th and we’d love you to join us!

Our sessions take place in our warm, private home pool with our wonderful teacher Sarah, creating the perfect environment for babies and their grown-ups to enjoy quality time together. Expect plenty of smiles, splashing, songs, confidence-building activities, and lots of opportunities for bonding.

Whether you’re:

💙 Looking to continue your little one’s swimming journey over the summer,
💙 Thinking about joining Krystle’s Starfish for the first time and would like to experience what we offer,
💙 Or simply looking for a fun way to cool down and make special memories together,

these sessions are the perfect opportunity.

Lessons are age-appropriate, with different groups running throughout the day to ensure every baby gets the most from their session.

Things we hear all the time... 👂💙

Adult: "They don't have to put their face in, do they?"
Us: No. They don't. We never force children to do anything they're not ready for.

Adult: "Can they hold their nose?"
Us: We'd rather help them learn to hum or blow bubbles. Holding their nose takes away a hand they could be using to balance and swim.

Adult: "They don't have to jump in, do they?"
Us: Absolutely not. We can start by playing with the water, sitting on the side, or taking one small step at a time.

Adult: "They're scared."
Us: Thank you for telling us. ❤️ Let's keep that conversation between us rather than reinforcing it around your child. When children are scared, their instinct is to stay close to the person they trust most—you. That's completely normal, and we'll work together to build their confidence.

Adult: "They're really close to their badge today. I've told them they'll get it."
Us: We'll always work towards the next badge, but our priority is building strong swimming skills, confidence and great technique. We'll always assess every child fairly and won't hold them back unnecessarily, but we also believe our awards should be earned. We want every badge to represent a genuine achievement that your child can be proud of.

Our job isn't to force children. It's to support them, encourage them, challenge them when they're ready, and celebrate every achievement along the way. One splash, one smile and one success at a time. 💙🏊
