Osborne Golf Club Junior Open 2026
Osborne Golf Club was delighted to host its Junior Open 2026, welcoming young golfers from clubs across the Isle of Wight for a fantastic afternoon of competitive golf.
With glorious sunshine, excellent course conditions and a superb turnout, the event proved to be a great success. Eighteen junior golfers, aged between 8 and 15 years old, took part in a 9-hole Stableford competition, alongside a Nearest the Pin challenge.
The standard of golf on display was impressive, with players showcasing great skill, sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the day.

🏆 1st Place: Finley Seabrook (W) 22 points
🥈 2nd Place: Nathan Parrott (O) 21 points
3 players on 20 points but taking 3rd place on count back:

A huge thank you goes to Mandy White and Rich Taylor for their hard work in organising the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Special thanks also to the volunteers who generously gave up their time to assist each group around the course: Lesley Catchpole, Ann Geary, Stew Taylor, Geoff Budd, Rose Budd, Sue Thompson and Gill Fahy. Their support helped make the day enjoyable and successful for all the competitors.
Finally, thank you to all the parents and families who supported the event and gave up their afternoon to encourage the young golfers. Your continued support is invaluable in helping junior golf thrive across the Island.
Congratulations to all who took part, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another successful Junior Open next year.
The next IOW junior event will be held at Freshwater on 28th June followed by Ryde on 5th July and then Shanklin & Sandown on the 23rd August 2026.
