The weather is looking good so as the DK Partnership Centre isn't available for our Yoga session tomorrow evening. We can do a Yoga Walk. We will start at the usual time 7pm meeting at the DK Partnership Centre. We will walk for about an hour. Wear comfortable sturdy shoes and bring something warm in case it gets chilly as the sun goes down. Please, let me know if you can come. πŸ™πŸ»πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ πŸŒ³β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ

We need to restore ourselves!

Restorative yoga poses using a chair. This week’s class features a variety of different ways in which a chair can be used in a restorative yoga sequence. In addition to helping you to preserve energy, this class uses a chair to open your chest, free up the movement of your diaphragm and lead towards heightened breath awareness. It includes variations of key poses such as supta baddha konasana, viparita dandasana, viparita karani, sarvangasana and savasana. Whilst breathing in these poses your intercostal muscles are given more space and your ribcage can move about with freedom. It will be an ideal class for soothing your nervous system and combating stress and anxiety. Weekly Advanced Class 261 will be released soon. Head to the website for more details.
