Wow, what a day!
It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to Boldon Golf Club for Round 1 of the Three Collieries Cup. What turned out to be a challenging day of golf was matched by an excellent course, and our volunteers and staff did a fantastic job welcoming, feeding, and looking after everyone throughout the day.
Now for what you've all been waiting for – the Round 1 leader board is below!
Well done to Benjamin Lawson for winning the nearest the pin on hole 12 with an excellent 44". Please see the front desk tomorrow to collect your winnings.
Please note that countback will only be applied after all three rounds have been completed, in accordance with the competition rules. Prize allocations will be confirmed following the completion of Round 3 on Sunday evening.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at Houghton-le-Spring for another excellent day of golf as the Three Collieries Cup continues.

The long wait is over.

Today marks the start of the Three Collieries Cup as we welcome 148 players to Boldon Golf Club for Day One of this fantastic competition.

We are delighted to welcome competitors to Boldon Golf Club, Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club and Seaham Golf Club over the next three days and wish everyone the best of luck.

⛳ We wanted to take a moment to recognise and thank our incredible greenkeeping team.
Their days start long before most of us arrive, and in all weather conditions they work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the course is presented to the highest possible standard. The condition of the course is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and dedication.
Like many golf clubs across the country, we know how important our greenkeepers are. They are the heartbeat of the club, and without their efforts, the course we all enjoy simply wouldn't be possible.
Here at Boldon Golf Club, we truly appreciate everything our greenkeepers do and are grateful for the effort they put in day after day.

Just 3 Weeks to Go Until the Inaugural Three Collieries Cup!

In just three weeks' time, players will tee it up in the inaugural Three Collieries Cup – a 3-day 4BBB competition played across Boldon, Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club , and Seaham Golf-club .

Over three days, competitors will take on three fantastic courses, enjoy some friendly rivalry, and battle it out to become the first names engraved on the Three Collieries Cup trophy.
