Happy Summer Solstice and International Yoga Day✨️🧘🏼♀️
The sun is shining here today on the Solstice, marking the longest day of the year when the sun reaches its highest point, and we are gifted the most hours of daylight ☀️ We can mark this day by honouring the light; outside us, and the one we nurture within! It’s a beautiful reminder to pause, soften and slow down, and to reconnect with the parts of us that crave warmth, space, and stillness.
Yoga has been such a supportive part of my own personal journey...helping me return
to myself again and again when I felt disconnected, and now as I continue to move through different seasons of life with more compassion.
Your yoga practice isn’t about how strong you can be or the shapes you make - it’s about coming home to yourself; to your breath, your body, and your truth. So today, take a moment to pause, to realign, and to celebrate all you have achieved this year so far! Get outside in the sunlight if you can and connect to nature, and if you feel called to, take a moment for yourself🧘🏼♀️
As a gift from me to you, I’d love to share my summer solstice Yoga Nidra with you - a gentle space to pause, breathe, reconnect, and welcome in abundance, clarity and calm for this season. Comment SOLSTICE below and I’ll send you the link 📧🔗
Thank you for being here in this little community, and for allowing me to share these practices with you. May you move through this season with softness, clarity, and a heart that is open to abundance and the light around you and within you ☀️✨️💛
