*****Class cancellations*****

Please note that due to the school being closed to students today and tomorrow (Tuesday), classes will not be running.

Classes resume on Wednesday as normal and Monday and Tuesday classes resume next week!!

Halloween 🎃

Due to Halloween celebrations tomorrow night, our Tuesday class is CANCELLED!

Please make sure you don’t eat too many sweets 🍭 and we will welcome you all back next week!!

⭐ November Club Spotlight ⭐

Very in-keeping with the weekend’s World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, our monthly club spotlight for November is EARLSTON GYMNASTICS CLUB, who provide opportunities for young people to receive coaching in gymnastics on floor, bars, beam and vault, in a safe, effective, child friendly environment.
-
The club aim to create fun and disciplined training sessions that teach gymnasts the value of effort and learning, improving personal performance, to deal positively with challenges and respect those around them. The gymnasts work towards the British Gymnastics award scheme “Rise Gymnastics”.

The club is proud to have a number of skilled qualified coaches who are all extremely dedicated and passionate about gymnastics. Most have been gymnasts before becoming coaches, so have a long history with the sport. The friendly and experienced coaches ensure all members enjoy their gymnastics and support them to be the best that they can be.

The club will finance and support (through mentoring) gymnasts and parents, to achieve Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications, therefore ensuring the future of the club. The club is affiliated to Scottish Gymnastics and currently offer seven classes a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at Earlston High School. They welcome gymnasts from P1-P7, with an advanced class catering for older children who show commitment, effort and improvement.

The club is a key club within the local community and beyond.

*****Monday 19th September 2022*****

Please note that there will be no gymnastics classes on Monday due to the state funeral for the Queen being held on this date.

All other classes will go ahead as normal for the rest of the week. Monday classes resume on 26th.

Classes start back Monday 22nd August!!!

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the gym next week.

A friendly reminder to make sure that gymnasts come prepared:

Water bottle

Appropriate clothing (joggers,leggings, shorts with T-shirt, leotard - please not that crop tops are not appropriate unless covered with a long top)

Hair must be tied back!!

We can’t wait to see you all and we hope that you have all had a great summer!

*****Bank Holiday*****
Just a wee reminder with the bank holiday this weekend, the school is closed to pupils on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd of May.

This means that classes start back on Wednesday 4th as normal but Monday classes will start back on the 9th and Tuesday class on the 10th.

Have a lovely weekend and we will see you all soon.

***February Holidays***

Just a reminder that due to the schools being closed this week classes will not return until Tuesday 22nd.
That means that if your child attends a Monday class then the coaches will welcome them back on the 28th.

Please remember to send your child to gymnastics with hair tied back and suitable clothing. They are welcome to bring a water bottle with them too.
