Every Monday morning there is a gathering of students and kit as our golfers head off to their day at The Essex as part of our golf academy. Our 25 golfers benefit from coaching, green time and free membership to The Essex. They are always a delight to chat to on a Monday morning. Alongside their golf they get to study 3 A levels or BTEC Sport as part of Sigma Sixth.

A massive well done to team Essex in winning the Curry Cup on Sunday against Benton hall. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Captains Kieran and Dan have used this competition to introduce some of the juniors to the men’s team with great success. Harry and Drew both scored points in the final.

Great year for the club 🏆🏆

My golf in no way matched the quality of yesterday’s venue. The Buckinghamshire is a top place to have ticked off the list. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

11 matches unbeaten this year on their way to a county trophy for The Essex Golf Country Club 🏆
The 3-2 score line doesn’t tell half the story of the drama that unfolded today.

Bentley Golf Club provided an unbelievably tight match and every player should be proud of their efforts.

Still ever so slightly in shock.

‘Hard ground’ season nearly over. Soon to be replaced with ‘Angry because I’ve lost all my distance season’ 😡

From 37 teams who started this year Handicapped Youth Shield, these guys are now down to the last 4!

A solid win against one of Essex’s most highly regarded clubs . Some great golf on display from both sides on an extremely hot day at a very bouncy Theydon Bois GC. ☀️⛳️

Thanks to the parents who came to support, our junior committee and sponsors of the section & Kevin our Junior Organiser.
