It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Sensei Mike Nursey, ESKA Chief Instructor.
A tragic loss for us all and our thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time.

The ESKA 2023 championships were held at the Stevenage honbu on Sunday 12th November. Duxford students took home an amazing 7 medals. Whether you won a medal or not we are proud of you all for representing the club. Ending the lesson with some controlled freestyle fighting gives the students a chance to practice their punches, kicks and blocks in a more realistic situation and gives us a lot of ‘wow, that was an amazing technique!’ moments as instructors. Superstars 🤩👊

ESKA held another successful national karate competition on Sunday at our Stevenage dojo, attended by over 370 students. Congratulations to our Duxford junior representatives who did brilliantly, it takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of everyone and perform (pictured is Dante with his medal for red belt kata).
