Christmas Break

After another very successful graduation evening, we’ve got a couple of weeks off now for a short Christmas break.

We’ve got the usual fortnight off for christmas / new year, so we’re back to training from Monday 5th January

If you’re thinking about taking up the martial arts in the new year we’d love to hear from you. Obviously we’ll all be enjoying some R&R and family time over the holiday season, but we’ll still be checking emails and phone messages so feel free to get in touch with any enquiries, just allow us a couple of extra days to get back to you

'tis the season to be Kicking!

So I know we're coming to the end of another year, and we'll be looking forward to a couple of weeks downtime with the family over christmas, but we're already getting enquiries for people looking to get started in the new year...

It's our favourite spooky time of the year! Halloween
next Tuesday, so time for our annual super-spooky
Halloween fun night, KICK OR TREAT! :-)

Lots of fun and games, tasty treats and a little
competition for the best halloween costume...

6:00pm for the Little Ninjas as usual.
6:45-7:45 for all the other kids.

Graduation Time!

This evening we have our quarterly graduation event at the Chantry Centre. A time to celebrate our progress, lots of presentations of new belts, certificates etc. Always a cracking night, but a very special one this evening as we'll be welcoming three newly promoted Black Belt and one very special senior black belt promotion!

WOW... it's crazy to think that it's 30 years ago, September 1995 when Master Olpin first opened his school in a little church hall in Dursley, and now 30 years later still going strong!

The Academy has stood the test of time, with traditional martial arts values, taught by expert instructors with literally decades of experience..

Between them our award-winning coaching team of Master Olpin, Mrs Williamson, Mr Coulsting and Mr Stone have clocked up over 90 years of combined training!

Here's to the next thirty eh!

Kids are all back at school now, and the energy in class this week has been AWESOME! Fired up now ready for grading and graduation this month, with three more members testing for their Black Belts this month, it's going to be an exciting few weeks! 👊🏼

Another excellent grading exam this weekend, and looking forward to graduation this tomorrow. If you're interested in getting started, this is a perfect time as we'll be starting a new block of training next week!
