Dursley Bowls Club is a fantastic lawn bowls facility set in the beautiful Priory Gardens, Chestal, off Long Street. Lister & Co, the club members play ladies, mens and mixed friendly and league matches. We welcome new bowlers of all ages.

This is a long tradition between our clubs so please come along to Dursley Bowls Club and cheer everyone on in this local derby to see which club is successful in winning enough disciplines to be awarded the shield. Gloucestershire Bowls Association County Champion of Champions 4 Bowl Singles - WINNER 🍾🥂🏆🥳
She did it!! Gilly won last Sunday 30th August at the County Finals Day II, Cotswold Bowls Club. Having made it to the final a third time in four years, after a 26 end battle she finally pulled away in the last 4 ends and over the line. Bringing it back to Dursley Bowls Club 🥰

Ladies County 2 Rink (aka Interclub) at Cheltenham Bowls Club Sunday 6th September. Another big weekend for our Dursley BC ladies again when they play Cheltenham BC in the semi final starting at 10am. The winner then goes into the Final starting at 13:45pm to play whoever emerged from the other semi between Kingswood & Hanham Bowls Club and Gloucester City Bowls Club. Our ladies have never reached this point in this competition before, so well done on winning through three rounds against strong Stroud clubs to get here.

Gloucestershire Bowls Association County Finals Day II - Sunday 30th August at Cotswold BC.
Let's get behind our players!! Please support our secretary Gill Meadows who is in the Ladies Champion of Champions 4B singles Final starting 10am, then again with partner Dave Smith they play the final of the Mixed Pairs from 12:30.
This is Gill's third attempt at this county singles title - will it be 3rd time lucky?
And Dave and Gill have reached the semi final before in the pairs, so one step further this year. 🍀🍀

After a fantastic effort in our final ladies Corinium league match last night we had a nail biting wait to hear the result of the other parallel game to see which of us had secured the top spot.
Both our ladies and Fairford teams scored the maximum 8 points making us equal on 52 point each, but Fairford just nudged it on shot diff by a plus 7!
Well done to winners Fairford, and a fantastic achievement from our team who took them right to the wire.
Our ladies showed grit and determination but also just how far we have developed as a Team and the progress of our newer ladies that joined us from last year's Bowls' Big Weekend.
Now to focus on the Interclub finals day :-)

LADIES CORINIUM LEAGUE 2026 - Last two matches to decide the winner! Come and support the Dursley ladies at Home, Monday 17th AUG 6pm when they play Tetbury, whilst we await the results of the Fairford match v WUE, Away at Wotton. With both Dursley and Fairford level on points going into their last games ..... and 8 points max up for grabs (2 each winning rink and 4 for the overall game win).
