⚠️Delays to the competitive season due to hard ground ⚠️.

We can't wait to welcome you all back but here's an update on the pitch conditions.

🏉 Mini & Youth / Colts: Training will begin on Sunday 6 September as planned. There are plans in place to ensure safety. This will cover age-grade teams through to Colts.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Senior Men & Women: No competitive league matches before 21 September. Coaches have been asked to conduct risk assessments before every training session.

Player welfare and safety remain our absolute top priority. Pitch conditions will be monitored constantly, and all RFU guidelines around contact and pitch suitability are being followed.

And finally.....Rich Morgan has a message for all m&y players coming back in September. We can't wait to see you!

The Big Walk and Talk 🚶‍♂️🗣

Ross is calling at the Club tonight, sometime after 6pm. Find out more about Ross, his journey so far and the charities he is supporting.

Ross Kirtland is currently walking the length of Great Britain for The Big Walk & Talk, raising funds and awareness for Head for Change, Tackle Su***de and Inn Churches. Along the way, he’s inviting people to walk with him, share their stories and start conversations about mental health, brain injury and homelessness.

Rugby has been a huge part of Ross’s life. It took him from Bradford Grammar School to a scholarship at Newcastle University and opportunities to play around the world. But behind the success, he was struggling with anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. After a severe mental health crisis, homelessness and more than 20 su***de attempts, Ross was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

He began The Big Walk & Talk exactly one year after leaving hospital, using his experience to show that recovery is possible and encourage others to seek support.

Along the way, various rugby clubs are hosting Ross. This may only be a cup of coffee, an opportunity to use the showers, or even to meet some of the staff or players - anything would be fantastic.

Ross is due to make it to Dursley late on 18th August.
