Breaking down the skills with Lucas to start the session 🔥.

Just moving from u5s into u6s and this is the standard he sets! Working hard this morning on ball manipulation, changes of speed and use of disguise as well as use of both feet, receiving on his back foot and shifting it onto his weaker foot to finish. So important to get players at this age comfortable with a ball at their feet, as well as confident using both feet.

Gonna be a top player Bainsey !

Class opportunity for Lucas Baines tonight training with SAFC pre academy.

Our youngest player who attends our sessions at only the age of 5, yet the talent on show is ridiculous. Taking on board details and applying them at a standard beyond his age.

Class opportunity for these boys tonight to go and play NUFC.

The lads had a fantastic time, playing with confidence and expressing at all times. Every player put a shift in worked as a team, and played some brilliant football, confidence and good decision’s in terms of when to beat a player and when to move the ball. Some excellent linkup across the whole pitch, playing the game with speed as well as being unpredictable with good use of disguise and changes of speed/ direction in 1v1s.

A huge thank you to Coach Lawrence and every player who booked onto today's Mini Camp at Noses Point.

In partnership with Skill Link Football, we hosted a superb day of ball mastery, packed with energy, enthusiasm and plenty of learning.

Every session was fantastic, with all of the players heading home having learned new skills and, just as importantly, gaining a better understanding of the game.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant day. Your effort and attitude were outstanding from start to finish.

Huge well done to Layton who has signed a pre contract with NUFC.

Layton always comes to our sessions ready to work, apply himself in the right way.

Over the last few months, Layton has worked hard on the ball, learning new moves and applying them in a opposed sessions, always playing with no fear and trying to execute moves against players with good changes of speed.

Looking forward to watching him develop over the years to come 🤝

Huge well done to Grayson who has started his journey with Sunderland academy! Grayson has been coming weekly for a mix of 1:1, group sessions. Over the last few months Gray has improved loads on the ball, consistently working on ball mastery work in sessions, learning and applying new skills to use in games. With the way the game is now, we’ve found it really important to help all our goalkeepers who attend our sessions to be confident on the ball with both feet and play with no fear.

Grayson was a huge part of our last 2 successful tournaments. Playing our style of football, playing out from the back, expressing yourself on the ball. As well as loads of clean sheets. Won’t find many keepers with the confidence to run up the full pitch, taking players out the game with Maradonas, then playing a line breaking pass 💪

Nathaniel making the next step up training with the academy for Sunderland tonight.

Nathaniel has been training with us for the last 3 months now, and his improvement on the ball has been outstanding. Always needs to be tested, his ability to take on board information and apply them is brilliant considering his age. Nathaniel is a regular feature on this page, due to the standard he sets in sessions, manipulating the ball at a standard beyond his years.

Future is very bright ⭐️
