As one of the more unusual clubs, DUSDS allows you to experience a whole new world underwater. nd events are run by qualified divers and instructors whose passion leads them to continue diving - even when they should be working! Founded in 2003, DUSDS has introduced many people to diving over the years, with a long-standing reputation for being a reliable and cheap way for students to learn diving. We offer PADI courses taught by our own instructors and in co-ordination with DCS. We make trips throughout the academic year to a variety of dive sites, capturing the best of North Eastern and Scottish diving. Highlights include the Farne Islands with its playful seals and St Abbs stunning nature reserve, as well as many more. We have our own equipment maintained to current safety standards for qualified divers to rent out for their own personal dive trips. DUSDS has a small and loving exec look after you: Jonathan Travers is the President; Saniya Saraf is the Treasurer; Charlotte Hunter is Secretary. When we are not underwater, we are probably at the bar and have socials a few times per term, reminiscing and regaling each other with our diving stories. Regardless of whether you have dived before, everyone is welcome! If you want more information, please drop the page a dm or come along to one our socials; we’d love to see you there.
