Subs information:

What are subs and how much are they?

For this year, subs to be paid to the club will be £150 for the whole year, which includes a £35 Team Durham membership.

This sub goes towards running training sessions, maintaining shared kit, enhancing our socials, and much more. If a member goes to 3 sessions a week, the price per session works out at roughly £1.80 per session, which we believe is still a great deal!

You won’t need to pay until you’ve attended 3 sessions, although you’re welcome to pay sooner if you’d like to stick around with us.

CALLING ALL ALUMNI ‼️🚨

Hello all! If you’ve left the club in recent years this one’s for you. We have been exploring the possibility of involving alumni in the club more.

To this extent, we’ve been considering organising and ALUMNI COMPETITION to take place in the 3rd term this year. The idea would be to book the dojo (or potentially another space) for as long as possible, and run a competition involving current students and those that have graduated. Entries would be roughly something like £5 per category, which would all go back towards the club to help out the following year. There would be medals for the winners 👀

Obviously there’s a lot to work out further, and everything is subject to change, but we’d love to hear if there’s any interest from alumni! Anyone who’s graduated and may be interested please either comment here or pop me a line!

Congratulations to everyone who has received A Level results today!!!

Hi everyone! This weekend is the taster session for women in sport straight after training on Saturday 4-6, so if you have any friends who want to try karate, let them know! And if you want to come along yourself, feel free!
