Our Men's Captain, Neil Tiplady, is taking on the Scafell Pike Sunrise Challenge on 11 October 2026 to raise funds for St Cuthbert's Hospice. This personal trek is a significant undertaking, and Neil would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer to help him reach his fundraising goal for this wonderful cause.
St Cuthbert's Hospice provides specialist care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life, and those who are bereaved. This care is offered entirely free of charge, so that everyone can access the support they need when they need it most.
Every year, it costs more than £2 million to keep the Hospice running. Your donation can help make a real difference: £650 pays for the full costs of 1 day of care in our Living Well Centre, £1,568 pays for 1 day of care in our In-Patient Unit, and £2,405 pays for 1 whole day of running costs for the Hospice.
Neil has set a fundraising target of £1,000, and every contribution will help him move closer to that goal while supporting people across County Durham who rely on this special care.
