Hello everyone! For those that don’t know me, my name is Jess and I am a 23 year old English Karate Athlete.

This year, I reached a major milestone in my karate career — breaking into the top 100 of the WKF world rankings.

My next goal is to continue climbing the rankings by competing at several upcoming WKF events in Georgia, Spain, Mexico, and Austria, with the ultimate aim of representing England.

Along the way, I’ve achieved:
🏅 Double British Champion
🏅 Double British University Champion
🥈 Two-time Silver Medallist at the European University Games

But, like many karate athletes, I face the challenge that our sport in England is entirely self-funded. Every international competition involves covering travel, accommodation, and entry costs personally.

I’m currently looking for support through the 2026 season and beyond on my GoFundMe page.

WKF Ranking - Top 100

Within one year and competing in only 3 WKF events I’ve went from being outside the top 400 to now placing 100th.

Excited for 2026! ✨

Series A, Kuala Lumpur - 13th Place 🇲🇾

Very proud of the performances that I put up against my competitors, especially those that went on to become bronze and gold medalists.

All progress is going in the right direction from the Series A across this year:

Georgia, Tbilisi 🇬🇪 - Final 16
Austria, Salzburg 🇦🇹 - Final 64
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 - 13th place
