On Tuesday 2nd September Minehead and West Somerset Hockey Club has organised a social to close the summer league tournament.
All abilities are welcome to join for a mixed friendly hockey game.
There will be membership forms so players can sign on for the 25/26 season.
The cricket club house will be open so everyone can enjoy a drink and there will be pizzas for after the game.

Please can everyone bring a WHITE and BLUE top so we can make 2 teams on the night once we know numbers.

It was another great evening of hockey last Tuesday.
Reds and Whites continued their winning streaks to set up a final day winner takes all clash! (see fixtures below for a change to the running order).

Rich Darlington continues to storm the leading goal scorer charts with 8, but can Morgan or Pete (both in 5) chase him down in the final week, as he has the tougher task of scoring against the Red team.

Fixtures for Tuesday below with the Red vs White winner takes all moved to the last game of the tournament, so hopefully everyone else can stay for a drink and cheer on the eventual winners.

Another great evening with nearly £600 raised already.
The Reds remain top of the table, but with the Whites and Blacks hot on their tails.
Rich Darlington with another 2 goals still tops the goals chart with 6, but closely followed by Morgan and Pete on 4.

08 August - England vs Poland at 16:00 PM UK Time | 17:00 PM Local Time

10 August - England vs Germany at 14:00 PM UK Time | 15:00 PM Local Time

12 August - France vs England at 11:30 AM UK Time | 12:30 PM Local Time

The Men's classification matches and Semi-finals will be played on August 14, 7th/8th place play off on August 16 and 5th/6th; 3rd/4th and the Final will be played on August 16.

EuroHockey Championship 2025 Women (8-17 August 2025):

10 August - England vs Scotland at 09:15 AM UK Time | 10:15 AM Local Time

11 August - England vs Belgium at 17:00 PM UK Time | 18:00 PM Local Time

13 August - Spain vs England at 09:00 AM UK Time | 10:00 AM Local Time

Another great turn out Tuesday night and I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Reds are top of the league, the only team with a perfect record.
While the Whites push up to second thanks to Rich Darlingtons 4 goal barrage on the night.
