National Team - European Kudo Championship Bulgaria - NOV 2026

The England leads are absolutely made up with everyone’s effort and skills shown in the grading and the national team selection over the last weekend.

We did not want to take anything away from the groups work in grading, as we discussed in the sessions, regardless of your goals in practicing and progress in Kudo, your commitment in supporting gradings and events means you are part of the National England Kudo Team.

Over the past month, all branches have had the opportunity to enter representatives from England branches, KDG and KSG for the upcoming Kudo European Championship in Bulgaria in November.

I am pleased to announce the first selection of our team -

-240F - Ildiko Halmai-Loft

-230A - Danny An Khoi Vu

-240A - Tommy Asabre-Holt
-240A - Kieran Makenji

-270A - Misha Barnish
-270/+270A - Dele Oginni

-230S - Paul Rowe
-270/260S - Mark Spencer

All fighters are required to read and accept the “Representation Expectations for International Tournaments“ available here https://sites.google.com/view/kudo-england/clubs/policies

Next selection National team selection will be in August in the North, as we did this weekend this will be for all categories spots that are available.

Normally 2 places in each division, for youth and adults. For masters and female we may get more places but the first 2 are guaranteed a place.

The last selection for the national team will be in September which will be held in Wales (good location for South West and Midlands), to ensure we have had full coverage and opportunity across UK.

Congratulations to all of the successfully selected fighters, lets all get behind these people for the European Kudo Championships.
