We are a friendly village tennis club with around 150 members of all standards and ages, and are always keen to welcome new members, including complete beginners.

Watched Wimbledon and thought, “I’d love to have a go!” Or maybe you used to play and just need a little practice to get back into the swing of things? Why not dig that old racket out of the loft and come along to Rusty Rackets!

Join us on Mondays at 7pm for a fun, relaxed session where you can have a go, refresh your skills, build your confidence, and enjoy getting back on court. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a little rusty, everyone is welcome!

Our Mini Tennis Camp is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and develop tennis skills, improve coordination and confidence, and most importantly have fun in a positive and supportive environment.

✅ Led by Head Coach Sara Bamford (LTA Level 4 & PTR Pro Qualified)

Today marks my last session at Eaton Bray after 16 amazing years.

I’ve had the privilege of working with so many wonderful people and have truly enjoyed getting to know everyone I’ve met along the way. The friendships, memories and experiences I’ve gained over the years are something I’ll always be grateful for.

Eaton Bray will always hold a special piece of my heart. It was the first place I worked and the club where my tennis coaching career began and grew into what it is today.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey over the last 16 years. While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories and connections made here will stay with me forever.

☀️ What a fantastic day for Eaton Bray’s first Pickleball Friendly against the Berkhamsted Wizards! 🏓

With the sun shining, some brilliant pickleball, plenty of giggles, delicious strawberries, and lots of new friendships formed, it was the perfect day on court. 💛🍓

A huge thank you to the Berkhamsted Wizards for making the trip—it was an absolute pleasure to host you. We’re already looking forward to the next friendly!

What a fantastic day we had at the St Mary’s Village Carnival! 🎉

We were honoured to be part of the procession in Mike’s Moke and had so much fun meeting so many people who were keen to give pickleball a try.

Our stall was buzzing all day with our Pickleball Challenge, where lucky participants won free Introduction to Pickleball sessions, as well as our raffle to win a pickleball bat and ball. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm for this fast-growing sport!

A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who worked so hard to make the fete such a fantastic family day out and a great success. And apologies to anyone who was unexpectedly “taken out” by the occasional stray pickleball! 😄

🎉 Come and see us at the St Mary’s Village Carnival in Edlesborough on the 4th July! 🎉

We’ll have a stall where you can come and have a go at pickleball – it’s fun, friendly, and easy to play🏓 (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)

Keep an eye out for our pickleball players in the carnival procession too – give them a wave and come along to show your support! 👋🎊

Don’t forget to grab one of our flyers, which includes a half-price introductory pickleball session – just £5 instead of the usual £10! It’s the perfect chance to give this fantastic sport a try.

❤️ A Lifesaving Addition to Our Community ❤️

We are delighted to announce that a new defibrillator has now been installed at the Eaton Bray Tennis & Pickleball Club clubhouse on School Lane.

This important project has only been possible thanks to the incredible support of our community. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed through fundraising events, raffles, donations, and the many hours of planning and hard work that went on behind the scenes to make this happen.

While we all hope that this defibrillator is never needed, having it available could one day help save a life. It is a valuable addition not only for our club members but for everyone who enjoys our beautiful park and local facilities.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this project a reality. Together, we’ve made our community a little safer.
