We were really unlucky to lose our cup semi final this morning 2-1. The team played really well, particularly in the 2nd half but wasn’t to be today. But overall I am so proud of the turn around the team have made since Christmas and today showed we can battle with a good side as well as play good passing football and we are in a good place ahead of the U12 season. Good luck to Luton United Eagles in the final.

Final day of the Filey Cup and a couple of really good performances from the team. A slow start to the group meant we lost the first 2 games but a really good win in game 3 and we got through to the semi final of the plate. Unfortunately after we had a goal disallowed wrongly by a dodgy lino which would have put us 1-0 up, we ended up conceding 2 late goals. Main thing from the weekend was the team bonding and the fun they had together away from football. And the arcade must have turned a huge profit!
